Young Greyton Riders excel

On 27 and 28 September three young local riders put Greyton Riding Club firmly on the equestrian map.  Ruby Rose van Zyl 7, Hannah Basson 10 and Morgane Bourdin 11 competed in their first Overberg Horse Show held in Swellendam.  The young riders did well, bringing home numerous rosettes won in many different showing, jumping and fun classes. They were accompanied by their instructor, Graham Haddow, who has been involved with horses for the last 40 years and their amazing ponies, Jubi and Huck.

Greyton Riding Club will be hosting their own show early in December.

Directions: from Greyton, just after Genadendal take the Villiersdorp road to the right, approximately 6km along the tar road, look out for a sign on the left.
