Oewerzicht offers you, your family and friends the following:
We have 6 luxury tents – situated on the riverbanks, 4 of them with a queen size bed and 2 with 2 single beds an en-suite bathroom, little refrigerator, kettle and own stoop and braai area. With electricity, heaters and an indoor fireplace to share.
There is a fully equipped communal kitchen to share between these tents with an inside braai area as well!!
We have 2 canoe’s for your use and if you are a fish fanatic you can bring your rods and spinners to see if you can catch some blue gill or bass. (catch and release)
On the opposite of these tents we have three farm Cottages - Citrus, Bergzicht and Welgeleë.
These Cottages are 50 m from the river and all have lovely verandahs. Bergzicht and Welgeleë are semi-detached and both have a single room with a double bed and two single beds in the living room.
All the Cottages have a braai area outside. Bergzicht and Welgeleë have one inside as well and Citrus has a fireplace. Citrus Cottage has 2 double beds (not in separate rooms) and a little Cottage at the back with 2 single beds and a bathroom. This is the only 6 person Cottage.
Then we have four Uitsig Cottages on a little hill with great views of the mountains and surroundings! They are situated 300 m from the river and have a little pool to share. They have two separate rooms - with a double bed and two single beds, as well as their own separate bathrooms. They also have braai areas in and outside.
We provide bedding, towels, a crate of firewood (R20 per crate if you need extra) and a grid! Please bring your own food, swimming towels and fire lighters! (WE LOVE CHILDREN AND PETS).
We also have a LAPA and cater for WEDDINGS during weekends and CONFERENCES during week time! We can seat 25 delegates for a conference and can also arrange a tent for weddings of more than 80 guests!
