The Greyton Launch of the OVERBERG WINE 2008 SOUTHERN CAPE (featuring TEN best restaurants) takes place on Saturday 29 March at The Oak & Vigne Cafe.
The Overberg Wine 2008 publication is a souvenir guide to the magnificent wines of the Overberg. This 56-page booklet promises to entice wine lovers, adventurers and friends to explore the beautiful region of the Overberg.
Popular Cape Town Jazz Ensemble, Cue Cumber,
will be performing on the Vigne side.
TEN restaurants have been selected by the authors of the publication as their favourites in the Overberg, and the Oak & Vigne, celebrating its 10th anniversary this year, is happy to be included as one of the best eateries in the Overberg.
TWELVE wineries will showcase their wines at a tasting from 12h00 until 16h00 on the Oak Side. Popular Cape Town Jazz Ensemble “Cue Cumber” will be performing on the Vigne Side, and easy food and drinks will be on sale from 18h00.
Wineries participating in the tasting on Saturday the 29th include Lismore Estate, Andy Mitchell Wines, Oewerzicht Wines, Paul Cluver, Lands End, First Sighting, Ataraxia, Newton Johnson, Raka, Stanford Hills, Sumaridge and Ecology.
Entrance to the wine tasting area on the Oak Side is R20 per person, which includes a wine tasting glass as well as a copy of the Overberg Wine 2008 book.
