The Greyton Conservation Society, with the support of the Greyton Municipality, has reintroduced and marked walking paths for the not-so-fit, and hiking trails for the more energetic, in the commonage and Nature Reserve of Greyton. For both walks and trails, stout footwear is recommended. The paths are marked. They start and end at the same point, where ample parking for cars is available.
Some spectacular views can be encountered, the bird life changing from mountain habitat to riverine surroundings to the garden life of the village, and the fynbos produces magnificent flowers at all times of the year at different altitudes.
The visitor to Greyton will delight in the natural beauty of our heritage. More information go to the Footprints website.
