Abbey Rose
Abbey Rose is a restaurant, coffee shop and a great wedding venue all in one, with its own little abbey tucked away in a beautiful garden setting, at the back of the restaurant. Abbey Rose offers traditional Cape Cuisine with wholesome unpretentious food.
Signature dishes include lamb shanks, oxtail, spare ribs, bredies, really great hamburgers and their famous chicken pie. The charming back garden beckons for guests to linger over salads or huge freshly baked scones during the day.

Only 90 minutes from Cape Town, we offer the perfect venue for a country wedding, with it”s own chapel in a beautiful romantic English garden that is perfect for photos.
Our abbey is unique with its antique oak pews (1926) that seats 80 and huge stained glass window done by Hennie 
Vermaas from Somerset West. We do the catering on site in our restaurant and are fully licensed. There are many B&B's for guests to linger longer and enjoy a memorable experience.
